What G Town Baseball is Seeking
We are looking for youth baseball players who come with a great attitude, are open to learning, and contribute to a strong team environment. Our goal is to keep honing the skills of players already competing at the club level and to recruit baseball fanatics who demonstrate the skills necessary for club-level play. League Play In The Winter - Why Your Player Should Play
Our season will be competing against other AA level teams in fast-paced, competitive league play. We will play a minimum of 8 games over 8 Saturdays, with practices during the week (2 practices per week). As a club with a growth mindset, we are always striving to develop players in multiple positions at a higher level, ensuring they have the right baseball skills and and baseball gear to perform their best.
One of the main goals of the Winter 2026 season is to prepare players for larger field dimensions (50/70), lead-offs, balks, pickoffs, and full baseball rules—skills that Little League and REC play do not fully prepare them for as they age up. If your player has the desire to advance beyond Little League or REC, this is the perfect time to engage in a great program that focuses on youth baseball development for their future. If your player is already participating in club level play, that's fantastic! They will be challenged while enjoying their experience playing AA level baseball, all while getting ready for baseball tryouts in the upcoming season.
Season Dates/Location
The league games for youth baseball begin in January 2027; however, we will start practices in late November 2026 to fine-tune our skills and provide instruction on the various baseball rules the players will encounter. The season will continue through March 1st, 2027. Players will practice at least twice a week for 2-3 hours per session, both on the field and in our facility. We will be very mindful of holiday weeks during the season when planning our practices. Additionally, players should come prepared with the appropriate baseball gear. Games and practices will be held in Gilbert, AZ, and will serve as an essential preparation for baseball tryouts.
So How Much Will It Cost?
Unlike Little Leagues and REC ball, club teams face full costs for field and facility rentals, as there are no reductions offered by the cities and towns. We maintain a roster of 10-12 players per team per season, while Little League and REC programs tend to register hundreds of players, resulting in less funding available to cover the costs of operating club teams.
For the Winter 2026 season, the total cost for each player's family to practice and compete in league games is $600. This fee covers league registration, baseball gear for practices, jersey and hat, and the necessary field and facility rentals.
If an offer is made during the baseball tryouts, we will require an initial payment of $300 to secure a spot on the roster. Offers will be made during open practices, with all roster decisions finalized by November 27th, 2026. To ensure a smooth start to the season, we have a 2-day deadline for acceptance and payment. We aim to avoid pressuring any family, as we simply need to build our teams and commence practices. The remaining balance of the season fee will be payable in two installments of $150 each, with the first due on January 1st, 2027, and the second on February 1st, 2027.

We manage all aspects of team registration, uniforms, and field/facility rentals. All funds collected are directed towards league registration, uniforms, and field rentals. Our club is not profit-driven; instead, we focus on developing character and baseball skills in youth baseball.
What Can The Winter Season Turn Into?
We are seeking to build excellent 9U thru 12U AA youth baseball teams for the Spring 2027 season. Our plan is to use the 2026 open practices to identify players not only for the Winter 2026 season but also for baseball tryouts that will transition into the Spring 2027. These teams will play in tournaments (1-2 tournaments a month) and possibly in league play (if time/schedules allow). If you like what we do in the Winter season, we want you to have a club home for the future. Any player that is part of a winter season team will be considered a part of the Spring 2027 season team should you decide you want to stay a part of our club family.
